About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering somatic and attachment-focused therapy, including Somatic Experiencing® and Brainspotting, for adults, parents, caregivers, and families healing from trauma, grief, overwhelming experiences, and nervous system patterns. My practice focuses primarily on adults and parents, with specialized support for children and families navigating medical trauma.

Many of the people I work with have spent years trying to hold everything together. They’re thoughtful, capable, deeply caring people who are exhausted from living in survival mode. Some are grieving a devastating loss. Some are carrying developmental or medical trauma. Some learned early to stay safe by over-functioning, masking, or disconnecting from themselves. Many understand their patterns intellectually but still feel them in their bodies, their relationships, and their daily lives.

Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen here. That’s where our work begins.

How I work

My approach centers on the nervous system. We work not only with thoughts and insight, but with the patterns that shape how you experience safety, stress, grief, connection, and overwhelm. This work isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping your system no longer carry everything alone

I believe grief is not something to pathologize or rush through. The bereaved are having a natural response to an unnatural loss, especially after traumatic loss, medical experiences, or the kind of chronic stress that quietly reshapes how a person moves through the world.

My style is warm, grounded, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Sometimes therapy looks like grief and hard conversations. Sometimes it looks like relief, laughter, or finally feeling able to exhale.

You are welcome here

If you’ve spent years masking, code-switching, over-adapting, or feeling “othered,” you are welcome here. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in social justice and culturally responsive care. I value spaces where people don’t have to perform, explain away their experiences, or hold everything alone.

About me

My understanding of grief and trauma is also personal. I know what it means to live through loss, to heal over time, and to slowly rebuild a sense of safety and connection within yourself.

Professionally, I’ve worked with caregivers and families for more than a decade, beginning as a parent coach before moving into somatic and attachment-focused therapy. I have specialized training in treating developmental trauma, preverbal trauma, and medical trauma in both children and adults, including adults carrying early experiences they have no words for. A meaningful part of my work has been with children adopted from foster care and the caregivers raising them. My hope is that what your body has carried can finally be met with care.

My training includes Somatic Experiencing®, Brainspotting, Theraplay®, DBT, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. I was previously certified in EMDR, and I bring trauma-informed experience from psychiatric and medical settings.

Outside the therapy room, I’m usually with family, in community, learning something new, traveling, or happy to be home again afterward.
